2 This home is an excellent location just steps away from the beach and we loved that! Having said that, it is actually in extreme need of updating. Every part of this house needs some TLC. Prior reviews talked about the outdoor spigot not working - it's still not working. Hence the house acquired many sand in it.
We had an excellent time! Amethyst Dunes was the right little house for our little family from Oklahoma. The location over the beach was well worth it!
4 The owner replaced the fridge because our last stay 2 years ago, which was needed. I feel that the house owner needs to address several difficulties. The main grievance that I have with the home is definitely the sliding glass doorways. Most, Otherwise all, of them really need for being replaced. The door which is used the most (from the dwelling/kitchen area area on the rear deck) is extremely tough to open.
that island is nothing short of paradise and like 35 miles from this house. the many beaches we secluded and very little people on them. its nowhere close to crowded. cape san blas experienced the most people off all of the beaches and even that wasn't what I call crowded". I do propose bringing bug spray because there are some yellow fly type insects that appear out during the early morning hours and when the Solar starts to established and they do bite. it was nothing that will keep you indoors although. there undoubtedly are a few state parks within the area and every one of them are beautiful. beautiful is surely an understatement to get honest! its a very family friendly place rather than the party scene. the people are friendly and their southern draw is just too darn cute. this year was the first time I have been to this area in florida and I will make this a yearly trip. working with pristine properties was simple and easy. they're nice and I almost certainly talked to all of them before I actually made it to indian pass. there is so much I could say but just pack up and go see for yourself.
